For the third year, Purcellville is hosting The Wine and Food Festival July 19, highlighting the town's local businesses and rural economy.

Last year's festival drew over 5,000 people. This year, the festival location is being moved to Fireman’s Field to offer more convenient parking and a comfortable tree-shaded setting. For their convenience, those over 21 will be able to present ID and receive a festival wristband to allow for wine tastings throughout the festival area. Local vendors will be selling food and about 20 vineyards have signed up to sell wine by the glass or the bottle.
